Founded by George Bechwati in 1962, ELTEK's name was inspired by the German term Elektro-Teknik because of the great admiration and passion George had towards the superior quality of German manufacturing. By 1970, he had acquired the exclusive distribution of Sennheiser and Neumann (Germany) as well as Peavey Electronics (USA), brands with which ELTEK still operates to this very day!
